Mackenzie Nedved

I believe every person, family, and relationship has the capacity for growth when given the right support. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where children, adolescents, couples, and families feel genuinely heard and understood. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Family Systems Theory, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs as we work together toward meaningful, lasting change.
As an Intern Counselor, my background includes private caregiving, behavioral therapy, and supporting children and families with a wide range of intellectual and developmental abilities. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of child and adolescent development, family dynamics, and the unique strengths each individual brings. I am passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges with compassion, hope, and practical support.
Outside the counseling office, you'll often find me exploring hiking trails, coffee shops, bookstores, and local restaurants with my husband. I believe movement, connection, and curiosity are essential to overall well-being, and I strive to bring that same spirit into my work. No matter your story or season of life, my goal is to walk alongside you with empathy, encouragement, and the belief that healing and growth are always possible
