We are all shaped by the experiences, relationships, interactions, and ups and downs of life, and that these can impact our core beliefs, sense of safety and belonging, relationships, how we view ourselves, and how we learn to see and interact with the world around us. These encounters can knock us off course or bring our “old stuff” to the surface. Sometimes, we have challenging times in life simply because of what we were taught to believe or feel about ourselves. Once people become aware of those harmful messages and learn to defeat them, they can lead much happier, healthier lives.

My job is to provide a safe, judgment free space for you to open up and explore your inner self. I am a supportive, collaborative, and gently challenging therapist. I believe in the power of a therapeutic relationship and that together we can reach your goals. Together we will develop an individualized treatment plan and using evidenced based interventions we will create change that you can maintain. Together we will identify, challenge, and change the thoughts and behaviors that are holding you back.

I would be honored to accompany you on this journey as you work to create the life you want.

Wife, Mom, Morning Person, Coffee Enthusiast, West Virginian, Holiday Lover, Advocate

I have worked in a juvenile correctional center, psychiatric hospital, outpatient clinic, and within the school system, with children, families, young adults, parents, trauma victims, sexual offenders, court ordered, and voluntary clients. Everyone has a story to tell, and everyone is capable of positive change. My role is to help you identify your goals, develop a plan of how we can get there, find your inner strength, and help to establish and maintain a healthier you.

I have been married for 7 years and have 3 children. When I’m not at work I am spending time with my family. I enjoy the seasons, one of the great gifts of living in West Virginia. Just like the changing of the seasons I believe that we all are capable of change and growth as well.
