about.
The “FUN” Aunt, Karaoke Enthusiast, Lady GAGA fanatic, Wonder Woman Strength, a New Orleans NYX, Beach lover, Avid Traveler, Total Foodie, Cancer Survivor, and represents the Hearing-Impaired Community.
I love to listen to music, travel, dance, spend time with my family, play the piano, drums and go to live concerts. I love podcasts, and documentaries, and learning new things every day.
Having lived both East Coast and West Coast, I have a strong appreciation for diversity. My experience includes residential facilities, Suboxone clinics, outpatient treatment, school counseling, and hospital work. I have worked with young adults within residential facilities, adolescents, and adults, first responders, and veterans challenged with PTSD, grief, loss, substance abuse and additional maladaptive conditions. I love working with people and being a part of helping with their growth and change. I have a strong appreciation for diversity having lived both East Coast and West Coast. People fascinate me, which has led me to a lifelong passion for learning to include being “knee deep” in the dissertation process of my PhD.
